Outer Wall

Reflected in the 230' (70m)-wide moat is a corner of the rebuilt outer wall (original 1857), anchored by a pavilion-style watchtower. The wall is 26' (8m) high and 10' (3m) thick at the bottom. Other types of secular tower include the palace towers at Bagaya Kyaung and the Royal Palace.
