Vajimukha

Sambor Prei Kuk
Sandstone, 146 cm (4'9")
3d quarter of the 10th century
Musee Guimet, Paris

This beautifully sculpted, horse-headed god may be Hayagriva or Kalki, as in the much earlier 7th-century example. His "Angkor shorts" are typical of the period.
