Wat Phra Ram, Ayutthaya

Located just east of the Royal Palace, Wat Phra Ram was built in 1369 as the burial temple of King Ramathibodi I (U Thong), the founder of Ayutthaya. Its Cambodian-style prang, seen past the entrance in this photo, was renovated in the 15th and again in the 18th century.
