Foot soldiers and cavalry generals appear in this section of the relief. The foot soldiers, protected by small shields, carry spears. The generals wear animal-head helmets and elaborately decorated, padded robes. In their upraised hands they brandish phkaks, which are long clubs with an angled blade.
