Elephant Scene

Elephant Terrace, Angkor Thom

Hunting scenes with elephants are carved into the wall in several places. Here, the elephant appears to be fighting another creature, possibly a lion. The details are difficult to make out because of natural weathering of the stone (and loss of its paint, if any).
