Kataluva Purvarama Temple

The temple is located near Koggala, on the southern coast just east of Galle (see: mysrilankaholidays.com, scrolling down for an exterior view). The temple is a 13th century foundation, refurbished in the 19th century. Seen here is a guardian figure in abhaya (fear-not) mudra.

As usual (alternation of v and w), "Kataluva" and "Kataluwa" are alternate spellings.
