Silleuksa Temple

The Four Instruments (samul) in the temple's Beomjong-gak (bell pavilion) are 1. Temple Bell (Beomjong); 2. Drums (Beopgo); 3. Wooden Fishes (Mokeo); and 4. Cloud-Shaped Gongs (Unpan). Symbolically, the playing of these percussion instruments broadcasts the Dharma to all living beings in the sky, sea, earth, heavens, and hells.
