Hyangwonjeong

Hyangwon Pavilion, #24 on the palace map, was built in 1873 on an artificial island in Hyangwon Lake. The wooden bridge originally connected to Geoncheong Residence from the north side of the island, but was destroyed during the Korean War. The current, rebuilt, bridge has been moved to the south side of the island.
