Yeongjegyo and Geunjeong-mun

As in the Forbidden City, a bridge (Yeongjegyo, #2 on the palace map) leads across a stream and into the palace (Geunjeongmun gate, #4 on the map). Mt. Bugaksan forms the backdrop. Both the Chinese and the Korean palaces are sited, for geomantic reasons, between mountains and a stream.
