South-facing Gwanghwamun, the main entrance (outer gate) to the palace grounds, was restored in 2010. The photos view the gate from its courtyard inside the palace complex, where changing-of-the-guard ceremonies are held several times a day. The buildings of modern Seoul are naturally also present, just outside the palace grounds.
