Gyeonggijeon Shrine

Gyeonggi Jeon displays memorial portraits and ancestor tablets of the Yi family, the rulers of the Joseon Dynasty (1392 1897). Memorialized rulers include the dynasty's founder King Taejo, Sejong, Yeongjo, and many others. The shrine was built in 1410, destroyed during the Japanese invasions of 1592-1598, and rebuilt in 1614.
