Gyeonggijeon Shrine

Gyeonggi Jeon displays memorial portraits and ancestor tablets of the Yi family, the rulers of the Joseon Dynasty (1392 – 1897). Memorialized rulers include the dynasty's founder King Taejo, Sejong, Yeongjo, and many others. The shrine was built in 1410, destroyed during the Japanese invasions of 1592-1598, and rebuilt in 1614.
