Building #3
Anapji Pond, Gyeongju National Park, Korea
The archaeologically-named1 Building #3 is the largest of three reconstructed buildings that overlook the pond (previous page). Today (2016), it holds a large model of what the pond and palace looked like in their heyday (next page).
There is a lot of online confusion about this building. It is not the palace or the most important building in the palace or anything like that. It is just a beautiful, large pleasure pavilion.
1Informally, everybody calls it "Imhaejeon," meaning "building that overlooks the pond." But there are other buildings here that overlook the pond too, so calling this one by its archaeological name "Building #3" is more specific.
