Bronze Bell Rattle

Bronze "jingle bells" like this were used in Shaman rituals. This example is elaborately etched, both on the body (sunburst pattern) and on the attached bells (spiral pattern). The piece was held in the hand, although a similar object from Bokcheondong was attached to a handle.
