Pictured is a mannequin display about gut, or shaman exorcism to expel evil spirits and attract good fortune. During the rite, the shaman would dance to the instruments shown, including a flute (piri), fiddle (haegum), and drums. The Gwangju Folk Museum has numerous exhibits about everyday life and customs.
