The south face of Deokheung-ri's astronomical ceiling contains this image of Cowherd and Weaver Maid, two star-crossed lovers who are separated by the Silver River and are allowed to come together on only one day of the year, July 7, the Chinese Valentine's Day.

In Western astronomy, Cowherd is the star Altair, Weaver Maid is Vega, and the Silver River is the Milky Way.
