Gwaneumjeon

Gwaneumjeon, located towards the bottom (east side) of the courtyard, is dedicated to Avalokiteshvara, the Saviour Bodhisattva. As such, it is related to Myeongbujeon (previous page); Avalokiteshvara's domain is the world, while Ksitigarbha deputizes for him in the underworld.

A stone lantern from the Goryeo dynasty is located in front of the hall.
