Main Hall Beomeosa Temple Busan, Korea The Main Hall (Daeungjeon) was built in 1614 with major renovations in 1713, 1814, and 1871.

Inside the hall are images of the Buddhas of the Past, Present (Shakyamuni, center), and Future, according to temple signage. There are identical-looking figures in the Vairocana Hall (previous page) that are identified differently. For purposes of identification, one has to take into account the temple tradition as well as iconography.
