Lion Triclinium
Wadi ad-Deir, Petra
The tomb is located on a small side branch of the road to the Deir (following pages).
The metopes of the frieze are decorated with raised rings,
and there is a face on each end of the frieze.
Below, two lions, sculpted in relief, face either side of the
entrance, whose unusual "keyhole" shape is due to weathering.
The tomb rests on an elevated platform that is accessed by stairs.
