Mosaic of a Vintner

A vintner, companion to the figure on the previous page, gathers grapes. He is wearing a Phrygian cap, short tunic, and a chlamys over his shoulder. His right foot extends outside the roundel to provide a three-dimensional effect, as at Petra Church.
