Okadayama Kofun #1

Izumo (modern Matsue), Japan

Although Okadayama #1 looks like a double kofun (upper photo), it is actually a keyhole-shaped mound with skirt at photo right and burial chamber at photo left. Its entrance is shown in the lower photos. The tomb dates to the late 6th-century or early 7th century A.D.
