The fourth lord's burial (ruled 1704-1705) may be said to be typical in its elements, in spite of his short reign. Considered overall, though, the 200-year reign of only ten lords of Matsue averages out to twenty years per reign, which - in comparison with other data from world history - as Rome, China, etc. - indicates a long period of stable and peaceful rule.
