Bodhisattva Statue

This modern statue shows a Bodhisattva sitting on a Lotus seat. Its shape imitates the outline of a classic stupa. His red "bib," which signifies divinity, is often now placed on statues of deities in Japanese temples and shrines (see Fushimi Inari Shrine for another example).
