Wayang Orchestra

The huge orchestra (gamelan) at the Sultan's Palace (kraton) in Yogyakarta performs daily for a show of three-dimensional stick-puppets (wayang golek). The instrument seen in the foreground is, essentially, a rack of tuned brass pots. It is temporarily unoccupied while the rest of the gamelan beats away in the background.
