Tiger Cave (Vyaghra Gumpha)

Cave 12, Udayagiri Jain Caves
100 BC - 100 AD

Udayagiri's "tiger cave" may seem unique, but wait, there's a tiger cave in China too! Well, the Chinese cave is a totally modern construction, I just put it in here to fool you. It is located in a Disney-like "Minority Village" near Kunming. As for the Udayagiri cave, it is certainly old, but why do they call it a tiger? Couldn't it rather be a snake, or a frog, or even a who-knows-what?
