Like Pinocchio and Jonah, the monkey king Hanuman was once swallowed by a sea monster. Pinocchio and Jonah were swallowed by a whale, but Hanuman was swallowed by a crocodile. He defeated the crocodile by growing to giant size and using his supernatural strength to escape.
