Tirujnana Sambandha is a boy devotee of Shiva. His iconography is often confused with dancing baby Krishna. Sambandha's right hand points upward, while Krishna's right hand extends palm out in abhaya mudra (See Huntington, p. 655, ch.21 n.34., and Dehejia, pp. 154 and 198).
