Sasbahu temples, Nagda

Shiva, bearing a long trident and sitting on an elevated platform, guards the south wall. Just above him is a sculpture of Parashurama with axe, snake, and conch.

The iconographic scheme (both temples) is: south wall, Parashurama above Shiva; west, Balarama above Vishnu; north, Rama above Brahma.
