Mosque of Tipu Sultan

The mosque (photo left) was built by Tipu Sultan; it should not be confused with his much better-known mosque in Calcutta. The tomb below it, commemorates one Sidi Abdul Malik Aziz, a late governor of Badami, according to George Michell; it is viewed here from the vicinity of Cave 4.
