Royal Palace, Amber

The Baradari Pavilion (photo left), a 3x3 bay building, stands in the middle of the harem courtyard. This is the innermost courtyard of the palace, located behind the ganesh pol on the previous page, that was reserved for the private living space of the raja and his wives. The courtyard wall, as seen here, is overlooked by balconies and chhatris.
