Temple Entrance

This is a side view of the temple entrance, in front of Ramesses' pylon. Visible flanking the entrance are two seated colossi, one standing obelisk, and one missing obelisk, all erected by Ramesses II. The missing Luxor Obelisk was gifted to France by Muhammad Ali Pasha, and installed in Paris at the Place de la Concorde in 1833.
