This relief shows Hathor, in bovine form, licking salt from the fingers of deified Hatshepsut. Around her neck, Hathor is wearing a sistrum with a Hathor face. In this and other reliefs, Hetshepsut typically wears the "masculine" beard of divine kingship, since this attribute was associated from earliest times with the office of Pharaoh.
