Temple of Dedwen

New Kalabsha, Egypt

Here is another temple relocated to Kalabsha, this one dedicated to Dedwen and Montu. It was built by Tuthmosis III (1504-1450 BC) in connection with his Nubian campaign. The temple was originally sited on the island of Uronarti between the second and third cataracts of the Nile.
