Mosque of Muhammad Ali

The nineteenth-century Mosque of Muhammad Ali, completed in 1830, was built in the classical Ottoman style, being modeled either on Hagia Sophia itself, or on one of the other mosques in Istanbul. It is located, along with several other royal mosques, on Cairo's Citadel.
