Temple At Segesta

The temple at Segesta ("Egesta," in Greek) is unfinished, construction probably having been interrupted by the breakout of war with Selinunte in 416 BC. Its column count is six by fourteen. The temple is magnificently sited against a rising hilltop in the background.
