Famen Si

This modern altar at Famen Si reflects a contemporary understanding of the Buddhist Esoteric tradition, in which a plethora of deities radiate downwards, along the four directional sides of its pyramid, from Vairocana at the top.

The altar is located at the south end of the museum courtyard.
