Pavilion of Dark Blue Waves, Suzhou

The centerpiece of Canglang Ting is this wooded hill, composed of artistic rocks and approached by an inviting pathway that leads into the hill. The garden was first built in 1044, enlarged and subsequently abandoned, then rebuilt in the early 17th century. It's known for its "borrowed views" of scenery from outside the garden, although these can be hard to see on a hazy day.
