Henan and Shanghai Museums
Both Hu feature dragon handles and lotus caps. The Henan Museum example, a Fang (square) Hu, is topped with a crane. It is slightly damaged with raised elongated designs and many puzzling small "pimples" (once inlaid?) on the body. The Shanghai Museum piece is a round Hu, of the highest artistic quality, with a raised curvilinear design on each of three horizontal sections, and a four-lotus-leaf pattern on its upper neck.
