Spirit Path of Yue Fei

Yue Fei Temple, Hangzhou

A short spirit path, lined with original Song Dynasty statues of men and animals, leads north to the tumuli. Although the scene looks peaceful here, the grounds are usually packed with tourists who clown around, photograph each other, sit on the animals, etc. It took a lot of patience, and help from some like-minded "shutterbugs," to clear the way for this photo.
